Back from Break

Ack, it's been a year!

So, my son is 23 months old, I'm still teaching and practicing yoga, and I'm pregnant with our second. I'm hoping to blog my way through an 80-hour practicum to complete (my second) 200-hour Yoga Alliance-approved, sweet-smelling Teacher Training Program. Have to focus, people. This baby's due in April, and no force on earth will allow completion of said program after that!

My current yoga practice routine:
Half-downward dog (daily)
Prenatal Class once a week (doubles as observation for a DIFFERENT (easier) practicum for prenatal YTT)

I'm also teaching one office yoga class a week, coming up with my own sequence, which I love. I've taught several Vinyasa classes but not as much as I'd like and I don't have anything regular. In order to make money, I'm still teaching Hot Yoga--I do enjoy it most of the time but confess I'm getting a bit bored--it's so easy. Four to five classes a week.

My son has started doing a little yoga--he does it naturally! Down Dog, Reclined Hero--these he busts on his own. Prompted by a character doing yoga on one of my mugs, he told me he wanted to do yoga. So we started with Down Dog. After that, he said, "Again the yoga?" Indeed. I also showed him Warrior I, and you know, he put one foot back and arms in the air. My little yogi!
